~!!!HAPPY PRIDE MONTH 2026, BABY!!!~

It’s STAR♥GAB with me, Cosmic, and I wanna start by saying sorry I skipped out on a blog post last month!!! I’ve been so busy through funding hassles and huge family events and the hectic-ness of working retail in graduation season, haha,, Cause this month has been a TOUGHIE.. Between job research, community and executive outreach, and progress on my EP “UGH! i’m literally trying to get a job rn.”, which I just verbally shorten to the “trying to get a job” album, my OWN plate is full. And I still have to maintain my day to day with retail at dollar tree and helping out my family and running errands and any extra stuff life throws at me??? Let someone say I can’t be an adult, I’ll show them the power of a black artsy queer magical girl from the South!!! Even as I write this, I’m literally outside selling merch at RuPaw’s Drag Race for Pets, which WAS as cunty as you’d imagine. ✨

But you know what? The hustle never stops!! Even now I’m still scheduled more festivals and gallery showings to appear at! The ones I’ll be selling at for the next two months so far are:

• June Monroe Downtown Gallery Crawl on June 4th

• Baton Rouge PRIDE on June 27th

• August Monroe Downtown Gallery Crawl August 6th

• And hopefully more!!

And with all this need for funding and job offer stuff, I thought about it, and hypothetically, even if I don’t have the long-term job offer by August, I’ll still have my savings made from festival money, commissions, and dollar tree to carry me through my first month in Toronto as well as my volunteer-ship at the Toronto International Film Festival, which works out great! All in all, stay grinding, and never give up!!!! Unless you’re genuinely exhausted. I suffered from workaholic-based hyper-exhaustion and it knocked out an entire WEEK, so watch that and make sure you also get proper rest! Otherwise, never stop being you!!!!!
